Before we start telling you anything else, we just want to say:
Thank you LORD, for your faithfulness, protection, wisdom and guidance throughout 2025. We are so blessed to be in your family, LORD, as adopted sons and daughters of the LORD Most High.
And, secondly, we want to say that we appreciate you, our friends around the globe, and thank you for praying for and standing up for Israel among the Nations. May the Lord bless and prosper you, keeping you in this new year.
21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Yeshua, the Messiah, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. (Hebrews 13:21, NLT)
Sheepgate Prayer Room
We are so thankful to the Lord that we now have people praying in the prayer room with commitment every day of the week, making the place an altar of prayer to Him.
Homegroups
Home groups are most precious to us at Tehilat-Yah Congregation. Towards the end of the year we had a gathering of sharing and blessing one another.
Thank God, on January 15 we will start a new homegroup for young couples
The One New Man
I was reminded, recently, that about 20 years ago, someone saw in the Spirit that we would have many people from Africa…they are certainly here and bless us with their gifts, adding to the beauty of the One New Man.
Mi-cha-el
On a personal note, during a time of ministry abroad at the end of the year, the Lord clearly spoke to me to return using my proper name, Michael (who is like God), because it bears His name, instead of the name people used to call me since childhood, Micky.
Young Worship Team
We are also setting out, with the help of a young Nigerian student, to have a worship team for youth and young adults that will lead worship once a month. We’ve been blessed with youth worship nights in the past and want to raise a generation of worshippers in Tehilat-Yah Congregation.
Youth
We were so pleased when U., one of our young adults and a soldier, approached me and offered to take on the youth. He came e x a c t l y at the right moment and I know God spoke to him and will prosper him in this not easy task.
Beit Margoa’
We had our first visitor at Beit Margoa at the end of December, praise God.
L. was shocked with joy when she entered the apartment. She lives in a mixed, Arab and Jewish city near Tel Aviv. In her building, she is now the only Jewish woman who still lives there alongside Arab families. The neighborhood does not feel safe and is regularly visited by incidents of crime.
L. is a single mom, with a 17-year-old son. She suffers from poor health and PTS and travels to hospitals in the Tel Aviv area quite often for treatment. For her the Beit Margoa’ apartment was a haven of peace, in a safe atmosphere that filled her with a sense of deep joy and new strength.
Cooperation with Ministries in the Land
We are pleased and blessed to continue our work together with FIRM, the Joshua Fund, and Jews for Jesus. Anything that brings the body of Messiah together is something we want to invest in. We particularly love to host seminars, worship nights, etc., and thank the Lord that we have the possibility and the space to do so.
In February, we will be hosting the next FIRM equip and encouragement gathering for members of the organization
National Board of Pastors in Israel
I was greatly surprised and happy to be elected to join the board of pastors in Israel at the beginning of December, as one of five pastors. I consider it an honor to be able to help impact what is happening within the body of Messiah in Israel.
Projects for 2026
We want to share what is on our hearts for 2026, with the request that you would pray for us: We plan to hold a counselling course and a Bible course this year.
Furthermore, we are praying about a coffee cart on wheels. This is quite common in Israel, and for some reason, the Lord has given me much favor with one of the vice mayors of our city.
Throughout the year we’ve helped distribute lots of food boxes and I shared with him our desire to have a coffee place that would sell coffee and snacks but also benefit the poorer population in the city. The idea of the coffee cart came up and really clicks with me. It seems that the vice mayor puts in quite some effort to help me. Praise God!
Last, but not least, Marianne has had it on her heart to produce a couple of worship songs with our faithful worship team. We are Tehilat-Yah (The Lord’s Praise) and we want to express our woship to the Lord through this project. It seems that now is the time to worship :0).

We especially thank the Lord that Lia was accepted to join this year’s LTC (Life Through Christ, Lahoe Teens Conference) in Germany with a group of messianic Israeli youth, this April.
