During our morning prayers at 6 am, we now have people from other nations joining us. This increases our faith, and we are immensely encouraged.
Furthermore, after the School of Prayer with Dr. Suzette Hattingh in April, we changed the way we pray. The Lord gave us Isaiah 62:10 for our region:
Go through, go through the gates,
Clear a way for the people!
Build up, build up the highway,
Remove the stones, lift up a flag over the peoples.
Out of that verse, he gave us a burden to pray for the Aliyah that we believe we will soon witness.
Based on Ezekiel 36, we know that the salvation of the people of Israel will come in two stages.
First, the physical salvation.
In verse 24, the LORD will gather home His people from among the nations.
Then, in verses 25-32, follows the spiritual salvation.
The LORD will give His people a new heart.
But, before that Aliyah will happen, we are called to fulfill 2 Chronicles 7:14, humble ourselves, repent, and intercede for the repentance of our people in order that we indeed may be a light to the nations.
